Valheim boss order & what each boss unlocks
The 8 bosses in the order the game expects you to face them, most of them summoned with an offering at an altar. Killing one drops the items you need for the next biome, unlocks its Forsaken power and changes the world: new raids, new creatures and new trader stock. For fights and the best gear for each, see bosses and what to bring to every boss; the progression checklist covers everything between the fights.

Questions
What is the boss order in Valheim?
1. Eikthyr, 2. The Elder, 3. Bonemass, 4. Moder, 5. Yagluth, 6. The Queen, 7. Fader, 8. Kall Fimbulbringer.
How do you summon bosses in Valheim?
Most bosses have an altar in their biome. Place the offering there: Eikthyr: 2 Deer Trophy; The Elder: 3 Ancient Seed; Bonemass: 10 Withered Bone; Moder: 3 Dragon Egg; Yagluth: 3 Fuling Totem; The Queen: 3 Seeker Soldier Trophy; Fader: 3 Bell; Kall Fimbulbringer: 3 Malicious Blood.
What happens after you kill a boss?
It drops its trophy, which unlocks its Forsaken power at the Sacrificial Stones, and the items you need for the next stage. Its death also starts some raids, stops its own army, lets new creatures spawn and adds trader stock, as listed above.
Offerings, drops, powers, raids, spawns and trader unlocks come from the game files of build 26249040; boss order follows the catalogue’s biome progression.
